This year's Hitchhikers Meeting will take place from 4th to 6th of september 2009
This time, it will be on a nice little meadow in the mountains between some wineyards, about 6km north of Heidelberg, Germany.
We'd like to invite any hitchhikers, lift-givers, and everyone who's interested to a nice weekend, hitchhiking stories at the camp fire, meeting fellow hitchhikers and maybe much more.
Participating is free and there's enough space for your tents.

What to bring?

You just need to bring, whatever you need for sleeping outside (i.e. tent, sleeping bag, ...)
We will organise meals on spot. There are some supermarkets close by (open till 10pm). At the camp site, there is a fireplace that we can use for BBQ.

So, just bring good mood, and if you like, some hitchhiking stories and/or musical instruments.

The meadow is located between the villages "Dossenheim" and "Schriesheim".

Coming via the Autobahn A5 you can get dropped at the exit Dossenheim. From there, walk or hitch to the village of Dossenheim. Follow the tram line to the center, to the tram stop Dossenheim OEG-Bahnhof
Then, follow Bahnhofstraße -> Hauptstraße -> Rathausstraße and turn into Schriesheimer Straße. At the end of "Schriesheimer Straße", continue for 500m and you are there :)

From Heidelberg, Weinheim or Mannheim you can take tram no. 5 to Dossenheim OEG-Bahnhof.
Then, walk into Bahnhofstraße -> Hauptstraße -> Rathausstraße and turn into Schriesheimer Straße. At the end of "Schriesheimer Straße", continue for 500m and you are there :)
